1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how QuantAxis (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the QuantAxis mobile application (the “App”) or our website (the “Site”). By using the App or Site, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect a minimal amount of information, limited to what is necessary to run the App:

Device information — make, model, operating system and version, and unique device identifiers. This helps us diagnose issues and deliver notifications.
Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications, we store the push token assigned by Apple so we can deliver market alerts and discovery pushes you ask for. You can revoke this in iOS Settings at any time.
Disclaimer acceptance — we record the fact and timestamp of your acceptance of our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Educational Disclaimer so we can comply with our obligations.
App usage & crash logs — anonymous, aggregated data about crashes and feature usage to help us improve stability and quality.
Subscription status — whether you have an active Pro subscription purchased through the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment method.

We do not collect your real name, email, phone number, home address, bank details, social-security number, or brokerage credentials. We do not ask you to create an account.

3. How we use information

To operate the App (deliver content, refresh market data, send notifications).
To improve app reliability and fix bugs.
To comply with legal obligations (e.g., logging disclaimer acceptance).
To verify your Pro subscription status through Apple.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We do not serve behavioral advertising.

4. Third-party services

The App relies on a small set of third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Apple App Store & StoreKit — for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — for delivering push notifications.
Supabase — our backend database (hosted by Amazon Web Services).
Market-data providers — including Coinbase, Alpaca, Polygon, and public news sources. These providers do not receive any personal information from us.

5. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to operate the App and meet our legal obligations. Device identifiers and push tokens are deleted when you uninstall the App or disable notifications.

6. Data security

We protect the limited data we do collect with industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and you acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email support@quantaxis.ai. Because we collect so little information, some rights may not be applicable.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or on the Site. Continued use of the App after such changes means you accept the new Privacy Policy.
